I've been a fan of Donna Summer and her music all my life. I was quite taken a-back by the news of her passing this week. Donna's 2008 release "Crayons" is still being played in my car. I wish Snap had "Last Dance" here. It was Donna's favorite song of hers. "Dim all the Lights", the third single off of "Bad Girls" will do nicely. I just dig everything on that double album.
Her soul will live on through her music.
Thanks for stopping by - Jeff
This live performance shows Donna at her best. Check out her Rod Stewart-ized version of the song. So cool.
This one's pretty much just for me.
Sunday (05/20) at the Billboard "Shiny Fake Metal Things Passed Out to Whomever scored Highest on our Mysterious Algorithm Scoring System (see small print at the end of the show)" event, the tribute to Donna was cut abruptly to go to commercials. Bad form indeed:

This has that last dance effect of speeding up. GR8 long note held. You are the master. I'd almost forgotten how much I love your singing. How could that be? Well, I've been away in a very foreign land.
