Was watching De-Lovely, again, last week. I am not singing it like Elvis Costello.

For the unacquainted. MsTake and I are IRL buds of long standing. For her and to duet with her fun lead, that was worth the gold.

Marching into Spring. ?? "Things are looking up!"

IRL vs. URL?

You went gold for me? Wow.

Does that mean you'll do a few more songs on a more regular basis?

What about that casting in DeLovely? Kevin Kline? Hmmm.

You are loose and goose on this and I dig it. What fun!

You look happy and that makes ME happy.

I am honored and pleased with your concoction.

Give me a little notice when you come to town next, Uncle Danny! We'll do lunch. Not teaching the summer session and I'm around.

Bless yer heart.

Next time should be the day after your birthday.

I always like Kevin Kline and that the guy had to dial back his singing, and could play the piano parts, awesome. I like everyone in that movie. About the only criticism is that despite having all the pieces, it doesn't transcend to being one of the best musicals ever. I think it was a labor of love for Jay Cocks (screenplay, best known as a Time movie reviewer) and director Winkler, who produced Rocky and The Right Stuff.

Still, I own it and watch it every nine months or so.

I hope to get value for my month's subscription, but Sunday night, in bed by 9, Monday night, possible open mike (I'm going tonight), Wednesday, open mike, and Thursday, in bed at 9, narrows the window of karaoke. Especially as I'm getting closer to trying to sell my recordings and have some production and writing work to do.
