My name is Linda (MIZSHUTTERBUG), I'm from southeastern Wisconsin. I just enjoy singing. Never had any vocal training whatsoever so this is just for fun, plus it's relaxing to me. I also have a dog and 2 cats. Big rescued animal lover!
I so enjoy listening to a fellow Singsnapper croon out a tune! I hope you enjoy the songs I do record. There's nothing better than reading the comment a listener has posted after hearing one of my songs. Smiles and happy times!! A hearty thanks to all of you who do take the time to post your appreciation of my music! Please know that all comments and listens will be returned!!
As far as my singing goes...not always do I have the most confidence in myself but I give it a whirl. And being here on Singsnap with all the wonderful people I've met since 2008 has been one of the best experiences of my life. Has brought me so much joy and I don't know what I would do without it now.
I also collect autographs of famous people. Been doing that since 1986. It is so great to hold something in your hand that someone you think so highly of has held in theirs and signed for you or even better a historical piece from way back or especially anything signed by my most favorite star - Marilyn Monroe, of which I own one piece.
I enjoy the hours spent here on Singsnap and look forward to many more. It is also so much fun meeting new people and there have been a number of you who have touched my heart. Singsnap has literally opened up my "little world" into such a large one and I am thankful for being a part of it. Thanks for stopping by! Stay happy, healthy and Blessings to you all!

"I might not be someone's first choice, but I am a great choice. I may not be rich, but I am valuable. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I've done in the past, but I am proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect, but I don't need to be; I am the way God made me. Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away."
And finally this one ~ a Guidepost I try to live by... sorry it's so long but worth the read.
"Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy."
