There is sacredness in tears.

The phrase "days of wine and roses" is originally from the poem
"Vitae Summa Brevis" by the English writer Ernest Dowson (1867–1900):
They are not long, the days of wine and roses:
Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while,
then closes...within a dream.
I started a TO-DO LIST and I have three things:
1. Things I am not going to do today.
2. Things I am not going to do tomorrow.
3. Things I ain't gonna' ever do!
So far... I AM ALL CAUGHT UP!
~Anonymous
The chains of habit are too weak to be felt
...until they are too strong to be broken.
~Samuel Johnson
What is greater than God,
More evil than the devil,
The poor have it,
The rich need it,
And if you eat it,
you will die?

If a man empties his purse into his head,
no man can take it away from him;
an investment in knowledge
always pays the best interest. ~Ben Franklin

The answer is NOTHING.

Nothing is more evil than the devil.
The poor have nothing.
The rich need nothing.

Why do you see the little Kitten after my comments?
Because my grandchildren call me
"MEOW"
.
Why do folks have a tendency to NOT listen to duets? And when they do, why do they often not comment or click the love button?
A wise friend once told me that
"On Sing Snap, in order to be heard, you must listen"
I typically visit songs because I simply enjoy listening. It is usually the song that pulls me in, and the member's performance that keeps me listening.
I SING FOR ME
(but I just love it when others care to listen!)
Singing is a passion.
It is like a soul mate;
Without it, I would not feel complete.
Singing helps to comfort me when I am sad
and allows me to vent when I feel hurt or angry.
It revives my soul when I am tired,
leads me to smile when I feel down,
and is a part of the celebration
when those great things in life happen!
Singing makes me feel good
and just plain ol' happy inside.
The songs that I choose
hold the words that help me convey
my feelings of love,
cope with a void, deal with loneliness,
or attempt to understand a loss.
I guess you could say that sometimes
the lyrics of my song choices
tell the stories, and the secrets, of my life.
I sing for many reasons,
and for no reason at all.
I am grateful for the visits to my recordings
and for the kind comments that are left behind.
