Profile

I come from a musical background. I grew up in a house with a dad who played music on the weekends in local clubs and bars. My mother has a beautiful, angelic voice and my sister has a powerhouse voice! I played various musical instruments growing up and was always in the school choir. At university level I was in the college choir and did more trained voice pieces. In 1996 I had a cyst removed from my thyroid which did a minor amount of damage to my vocal chords. I can't sing as well as I used to, but I still love music and singing. I just wish I could hit the notes, like I once did. c'est la vie! I love this site! I am American, but moved to Australia in 2003 to live with my aussie husband. He is amazing!
