THIS CONTEST IS FOR THE GALS ONLY...THERE WILL BE 3 ROUNDS.. EACH ROUND LASTING 48 HOURS.. FEMALE ARTISTS FROM COUNTRY GENRE ONLY.. FREASH RECORDING TIME STAMPED AFTER THE ROUND HAS STARTED.. YOU MAY PICK THE SAME ARTIST BUT NOT THE SAME SONG.. NO CLIAMING OF ARTIST OR SONG..

HOST IS JAKE AND JUDGES ARE ANITA AND CAROL.. ANY QUESTIONS PM ONE OF US... AFTER LAST ROUND, WE WILL HAVE OVERALL WINNER, SUPERGRAND WINNER, GRAND WINNDER AND 1,2,3 PLACE WINNERS..

ROUNDS WILL GO AS FOLLOWING..

ROUND 1. YOUR CHOICE OF ARTIST FROM YEAR 1950-1989
ROUND 2. YOUR CHOICE OF ARTIST FROM YEAR 1990-2020
ROUND 3. WE WILL PICK THE ARIST FOR EACH OF YOU BUT YOU CAN PICK THE SONG..

MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL THE RULES BEFORE JOINING.. DO NOT COME BACK AND SAY YOU DID NOT SEE IT.... AS YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED RIGHT AWAY..

1. All Song Entries shall be Fresh (Time Stamped after Round has Begun) - No Pre- Records Accepted for ANY Reason.
2. NO Harmonies, Duets,*LIC*Songs/Demos, No Rap Heavy Metal and No Gospel, or Holiday songs.. Accepted for ANY Reason
3. Community Song Book Songs (CS) WILL BE ACCEPTABLE.
4. Video IS Allowed but NOT Mandatory. NO Extra Points will be Awarded for Video Attachments to Songs.. If using background pictures, please make sure they are not light as it is hard to read the comments that other people put there..
5. Be Respectful to ALL Fellow Singers/Contestants...Bottom Line = Be Nice!!!!
6. No Colored Texts or Bold Texting. That is Reserved for the Host & Judges. DO NOT MESS WITH THE UPDATES.
7. Listen and Commenting on Song Entries:
No pressure here, but all Listens/Comments are Appreciated and ANY Singer/Contestant that does NOT Comment on at least 10 of the Song Entries will be DQ'd (Disqualified) without ANY Prior Warning. (Note: NO COPYING AND PASTING AND JUMPING FROM SONG TO SONG IN 1 MIN APART)
8. Zero Drama Allowed!!!! That will Result in an Automatic DQ and Potential Disbarment from ANY & ALL of our Future Events.
9. Enjoy your Time here and have some Fun Singing and Listening to Others.
10. NO Autotune OR Voice Programs = Only MMSB = Make Me Sound Better is Allowed!!
11. If for some Legitimate Reason your Song is being Delayed in being Posted within the Allotted Time Frame , then as a Contestant you MUST send a PM to the Host ASAP and also if you feel that there a Strong Chance that Your Song will NOT be able to be Submitted at all, then a PM is also Required to avoid any Additional Unwanted Delay in the Contest. Failure to Send the PM will result in Disqualification & Potential Disbarment from Any and All of our Future Events.
12. Do NOT wait until the last minute to Submit your Songs. If you do it (2) Two Rounds in a Row you will be Automatically Removed from the Contest.
13. If you do NOT Submit a Song in ANY of the Rounds, you will be Automatically Removed from the Contest. (No Exceptions), And you will have to sit out 2 contests before you can join again.

SCORING: All Scores will be Based on the Following Criteria:..

1 - Pitch & Voice Control
2 - Technical Errors (Excessive Background Noise, Including Mic Bumps, TV,
Family Pets, Street Noises, Etc...) Will Be Taken Into Account and Scored accordingly.
3. Volume, Timing & Mixing
4. Emotion/Heart/Soul/Passion
5. Overall Vocal Performance & Effect (Adhering to Melody, Comfort of Key &
Energy Level
6. The "IT" Factor (Whatever That May Be and it's up to the Judge's discretion )

PLEASE NOTE:...This event is NOT a Popularity Contest but a Singing Contest
and will be judged accordingly. There will be NO Sugarcoating by the
Judging Team and definitely NO Favoritism allowed. So bring your "A" Game!!!

Good Morning Carol Ann and everyone else who are peeping in, Maybe we will finish filling up this morning for contest. Sure hope so.
It is some kind of cool here and going for a low of 21 tonight.. Guess where I will be? where it is warm.

My oldest Great Nephew who is 21 called me a bit ago, he and his crew are going to do my yard. He ask me auntie you know its cold, I told him nope havent poked my head outside told him to wait until it warmed up a bit. But he told me they have to many yards to do. They have 75 they keep up with and now getting them ready for winter here.They stay busy and he is doing his EMT school on line. And when he finishes that he will go to the Fire Academy. He is a busy young man. I am so proud of.

I also want to thank all of you who commented on my song in last contest Chain of Fools By Aretha Franklin, Never had done it before are even thought about it until when I attempted to do it. . Your comments were so much appreciated. Comments like yours warms my heart.
